ScatterShad™ FH-5 Spinnerbait

Taylor Man's Scattershad™ FH-5 multi-blade spinnerbait will create the flash, chatter, and vibrations of an entire school of shad or minnows. Swim it across a point, over or through submerged vegetation, through the reeds and willow grass or work it through a brush pile. The Scattershad™ FH5 multi-blade spinnerbaits main blade spins, creating turbulence and calling attention to this lure even in low light and stained water conditions. The other blades slice back and forth in scissors movements, scattering light, clanking against each other, and driving bass and other gamefish wild!

The amazing action of this multi-blade spinnerbait is complimented with Taylor Man's true running Super Spin frames, a 5/0 Gamakatsu hook, and carefully arranged skirts secured with a silicone band, not cheap latex collars, and wire wrapped for security.

ScatterShad FH-5 Multi-Blade Spinnerbait Features:

  • Sizes:  NEW - 1/4 ounce Size Added  3/8-ounce 1/2-ounce 3/4-ounce and 1-oz sizes
  • 4/0 - 5/0 Gamakatsu hook

Premium Quality Craftsmanship

Each premium Made in USA custom multi-blade spinnerbait is hand-painted and finished with Hi-Tech, taxidermy grade custom designed colors that smokescreen into the natural environment. Next, we carefully select specific custom skirt patterns and colors to mimic natural prey. Then, the hardware is engineered with not only the durability and quality Taylor Man’s customers have grown to expect, but also the appearance and motion of baitfish in the water.

Innovation In Design

Taylor Man’s Custom Lures realized a decade ago that cheap, mass-produced baits aren’t what real fishermen want tied on their lines. Why? Because fish are accustomed to the same-old mass-produced lure that everyone else is throwing. According to Elite Series Angler Bradley Roy, “Each Taylor Man’s [lure] is hand-crafted from the finest, most durable and most lifelike components available.” What this means to you is that even when you’re in over-fished waters, Taylor Man’s Custom Lures will still get the job done. Great spinnerbait. very nice paint job, the skirt is done very well and the blades are nice and sturdy. The jig head is painted all the way to bait keeper in the same pattern and that just adds to the over-all quality. Not much else to say about a spinner bait, but after receiving my baits I can assure that all the baits they make will be nothing but top quality and be a staple go-to bait in your tackle box.. i'm glad I found this brand and also happy to support a smaller company..

    Scattershad FH5

Posted by Tim Morrison on Jan 28th 2022

January 15, 2022 was cold and cloudy. Blasted off 7 am on Center Hill with uncertainty on what bait to use. It is A-Rig season as water is 51F. My shoulder can't handle much of that so I tried the FH-5 white Scattershad in 3/4 once. Slow roll at 15 ft deep and was not disappointed. I caught my limit on this bait and feel like it is as good as the Rig in winter. Tough, did not bend, sharp hook. Due to long arm for blades, I had to untangle and re-tie my line some. Uses 8 lb test mono on 7ft 2i rod. Maybe 10 lb better. I could throw the bait 40-50 yards and tight line it to the bottom. Usually get bit coming up slope from 18-20 ft. I just bought a couple more and going to try again in a little colder water in February. Thanks!
