For more than 15 years, Taylor Man’s Custom Lures has built premium spinnerbaits, jigs and buzzbaits by hand in the Piedmont foothills of North Carolina.
Founded by lure designer James Huskey, Taylor Man’s was built on a simple belief: anglers deserve better than another mass-produced lure that looks and fishes like everything else on the shelf. Every Taylor Man’s lure begins with purpose.
Colors and finishes are selected to create the appearance of natural forage while remaining durable enough for serious use. Skirt patterns are designed to imitate baitfish, bluegill, crawfish and other prey. Hardware and components are chosen to deliver the right combination of strength, action, flash, vibration and movement in the water.
These are not random combinations assembled to fill a catalog. Each element is selected because of what it contributes to the finished lure.
