Pond Skater™ Buzzbaits
Taylor Man's Pond Skater™ Buzzbaits
Taylor Man's Pond Skater™ Buzzbait has the same great head design as our "Water Strider Buzzbait™" with a dual runnel quick-planing head, downward-looking color-shifting 3D eyes, a 5/0 Gamakatsu hook, and our custom hand-tied Bio-flex Silicone skirts that mimic dominant prey species on your home waters, attached with our own premium silicone bands and wired tied with stainless steel wire to prevent slippage. The Taylor Man's custom Pond Skater Buzzbaits have a single large delta blade and is adjustable to run in varying directions.
Taylor Man's Pond Skater™ Buzzbaits trigger adrenaline-pumping explosions like big bass bashing a buzzbait. It’s a heart attack on a string! But it can also be tremendously frustrating, too. The revolving delta blade on most custom buzzbaits makes them pull off to one side during retrieves. Some are difficult to bring to the top or keep on the surface when slow speeds are called for. And on fast retrieves, a lot of buzzbaits rollover.
Taylor Man's Pond Skater™ Buzzbait Features:
- Taylor Man's revolutionary new wedge-shaped keel design allows the bait to (A) slips easily through vegetation and across wood.
- Twin concave surfaces (B) on both sides of the keel increase the head’s surface area and directs the water outward, lifting the bait immediately to the surface and keeping it there even at a crawl.
- At the back of the head, the rounded profile (C) prevents the lure from rolling over on its side as the lure is pulled across subsurface branches.
- Downward-looking 3D eyes (D) are recessed so they won’t get knocked off when the bait comes through the rough stuff.
OUR PROCESS SETS US APART
First, each premium Made in USA lure is hand painted and finished with Hi-Tech, taxidermy grade custom designed colors that smokescreen into the natural environment. Next, we carefully select specific custom skirt patterns and colors to mimic natural prey. Then, the hardware is engineered with not only the durability and quality Taylor Man’s customers have grown to expect, but also the appearance and motion of baitfish in the water.
INNOVATION
Taylor Man’s Custom Lures realized a decade ago that cheap, mass-produced baits aren’t what real fishermen want on their line. Why? Because fish are accustomed the same-old mass-produced lure that everyone else is throwing. According to Elite Series Angler Bradley Roy, “Each Taylor Man’s [lure] is hand-crafted from the finest, most durable and most lifelike components available.” What this means to you is that even when you’re in over-fished waters, Taylor Man’s Custom Lures will still get the job done.
