Claymore Clacker™ Buzzbait

Built to get on plane fast and stay there.

The Claymore Clacker uses a keel-shaped head and clacker blade system to create immediate lift, strong surface disturbance, and consistent tracking through cover.

Where It Excels

  • Shallow cover and vegetation
  • Wood, laydowns, and shoreline targets
  • Slow retrieves where staying on top matters
  • Situations that call for aggressive topwater strikes

What Sets It Apart

  • Keel-shaped head design
    • Lifts quickly to the surface and stays there at slower speeds
    • Helps the bait track straight and resist rolling
  • Surface control and stability
    • Twin concave surfaces push water outward for added lift
    • Rounded rear profile keeps the bait upright through cover
  • Clacker blade system
    • Produces a sharp, consistent sound
    • Creates a bubble trail and surface disturbance that draws strikes

Built for Cover

  • Slides through vegetation and across wood clean
  • Recessed 3D eyes for durability
  • Designed to hold its track through rough structure

Construction Details

  • .045 stainless steel wire frame

Bottom Line

A buzzbait has to get to the surface fast and stay there.

This one is built to do both, while creating the sound and disturbance needed to trigger explosive strikes.

I used this for the first time at a farm pond, I caught several, one was a huge male sitting right up on the bank. These lure produce.

Works very well!. Wire could be little sturdier.
