ScatterShad™ FH-5 Spinnerbait (Quintuple Willow Leaf Blades)

Five blades. More flash. More fish-finding power.

The ScatterShad™ FH-5 is built to create the appearance of a tight pod of baitfish moving through the water. With five willow leaf blades working together, it produces an intense combination of flash, vibration, and blade-to-blade contact that helps predators locate and commit, especially in stained water or low-light conditions.

Why It Matters on the Water

  • Creates the appearance of multiple baitfish with a compact profile
  • Produces an enormous flash signature without drastically increasing lure size
  • Generates additional sound and irregular light scatter from blade contact
  • Remains effective at slower retrieve speeds
  • Gives pressured fish a different look than traditional spinnerbaits

Key Features

5-Blade Willow Leaf System

Every FH-5 features five willow leaf blades working together to create maximum flash, movement, and baitfish imitation.

Active + Passive Blade Design

The primary blade spins to generate lift, flash, and vibration.

The remaining blades do not always rotate continuously. Instead, they flash, deflect, and make contact with one another, creating unpredictable light scatter and subtle clicking sounds that often trigger reaction strikes.

True-Running Super Spin Frame

Engineered to maintain proper tracking and balance despite the additional blade resistance.

Sampo Ball Bearing Swivel

Provides smooth, dependable rotation of the primary blade with minimal startup resistance.

Gamakatsu Hook

Premium Gamakatsu hook sized for proper balance and maximum hook-up performance.

3/8–1 oz — 5/0 Hook

Hand Wire-Tied Skirt

Each premium silicone skirt is hand wire-tied for long-term durability and a fuller, more natural profile.

Where It Excels

  • Stained or dirty water
  • Windy conditions that reduce visibility
  • Cloud cover and low-light periods
  • Around schools of baitfish
  • Anytime you want the largest flash profile without throwing an oversized bait

Great spinnerbait. very nice paint job, the skirt is done very well and the blades are nice and sturdy. The jig head is painted all the way to bait keeper in the same pattern and that just adds to the over-all quality. Not much else to say about a spinner bait, but after receiving my baits I can assure that all the baits they make will be nothing but top quality and be a staple go-to bait in your tackle box.. i'm glad I found this brand and also happy to support a smaller company..

    Scattershad FH5

Posted by Tim Morrison on Jan 28th 2022

January 15, 2022 was cold and cloudy. Blasted off 7 am on Center Hill with uncertainty on what bait to use. It is A-Rig season as water is 51F. My shoulder can't handle much of that so I tried the FH-5 white Scattershad in 3/4 once. Slow roll at 15 ft deep and was not disappointed. I caught my limit on this bait and feel like it is as good as the Rig in winter. Tough, did not bend, sharp hook. Due to long arm for blades, I had to untangle and re-tie my line some. Uses 8 lb test mono on 7ft 2i rod. Maybe 10 lb better. I could throw the bait 40-50 yards and tight line it to the bottom. Usually get bit coming up slope from 18-20 ft. I just bought a couple more and going to try again in a little colder water in February. Thanks!
